Company ProfileLeckhampton Computers, formed in 1980, is a company of ten computer professionals who take a pride in the quality of their work. Half of the company have worked in a consultancy capacity and have successfully led major computerisation projects. It is Leckhampton's policy not to employ salesmen, and to offer our services only when we are confident that they will be of maximum benefit to the client. Most of our business comes from personal recommendations and as a result we do not need to sell pro-actively. We like to offer a personal, efficient service, on the basis of long term serious commitments. Consequently new projects are not undertaken lightly. We believe that major computer projects have to be approached in a rational way by people with skill, knowledge, commitment, tenacity and pride in their work. At Leckhampton we promise you individual care and a reliable continuity of service and dedication. Constructing an efficient system, we believe, is only the beginning. Training and subsequent support are equally part of the project, and are planned for, right from the outset. Clearly we concentrate on areas in which we are experts, and so, where this is likely to be of benefit to the client, we work closely in partnership with other companies using their resources to complement ours. We prefer to take full responsibility for all our project, including the work of our partners. In such situations we are happy to supply the hardware as well as the software and the supporting services. However, where the client prefers it, we are happy to play a secondary or advisory role.
